We will host international students who have at least a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent of 3-years level of studies at university for one or two exchange semesters. 

All candidates must be nominated by the international office of their home University and nominations will be addressed to the ENSAT International Office

• Certificate of French language level delivered by a certified French learning center. A minimum B1 level is mandatory to follow engineering and Master courses in French.
• Certificate of English language level delivered by a certified English learning centre. A minimum B1 level is requested to follow engineering courses and a minimum of B2 level for International Master of Science and Technology programs.

Our International office will then send you a letter of admission. From then on:

• Proceed to visa applications if you are a non-European citizen
• A health insurance coverage is compulsory to study in France. If you come from European Union, request a health insurance European card before your departure. Otherwise you will be able to subscribe to a student medical coverage during the registration at ENSAT (about 200€). However, this card only begins on October 1st and a private health insurance will be required to cover any previous period to October 1st.
• Finally, send an email to rel-int@ensat.fr to confirm that you have all your documents and that you will arrive in Toulouse at the expected date.

The ENSAT has agreements for double degrees with seven partner universities. Students will be accepted in the second year at the ENSAT (fourth-year of university level).  In the third year, students choose one specialization field and follow all courses within the syllabus. After one semester at school, they go on internship placement in France or abroad. Their work is examined jointly by ENSAT and by home university coordinators as well as by the hosting internship tutors.

Successful students are awarded the ENSAT “Diplôme d’Ingénieur Agronome” as well as the degree achieved at their home university.

  Enrolling in a French “Grande Ecole” is submitted to high selective procedures based on national entrance examinations after 2 years “Classes Preparatoires aux Grandes Ecoles”. This mainly applies to students who attended secondary schools under the French education system (in France or in a French high school abroad).Several complex gateways following extensive selective procedures are available.(http://www.ensat.fr/fr/formations/admissions.html)

 However, we will welcome a limited number of international students (10-12 per year), based on their academic transcript of records followed by an interview. They do not go through the “Classes Préparatoires”.

 REQUIREMENTS

All applicants should have validated these levels at the latest in June, the year of their application.

• Motivation to join the ENSAT in view of the engineering degree,
• Any additional information relevant to your open-mindedness, dynamism and creativity.
• Interview with a selection board: Applicants who hold the best records may be called for an interview. For far-away living candidates, interviews are conducted by videoconferencing.

A good command of the French language (at least an intermediate B1 to B2 level) is requested for admissibility. Students should have achieved, at least, a B2 level after one year at the ENSAT.

There are several financial instruments that allow students’ mobility :

FOR THE ARFAGRI, BRAFAGRI, BRAFITEC, MEXFITEC PROGRAMS

Depending on the programme, different forms of allowances may be obtained: 1000€ for Brazil, 1300€ for Argentina, and 1500€ for Mexico. The Brazilian government may grant an additional $500 Real per month after a few steps to the local coordinator. The amounts can vary from year to year and the International Office of respective countries will provide the information upon request.

The Eiffel scholarships programme , managed by Campus France, was implemented to help French higher education institutions to recruit the best foreign students in Master’s programs and PhDs. Applications can only be submitted by the host university in which the student was accepted.

Located between the Pyrenees, the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, Toulouse is the capital city of the vast Languedoc-Roussillon-Midi-Pyrénées region and the 4th biggest city in France.

The ENSAT, located on the Agrobiopôle Toulouse-Auzeville, some 15 Kms South-East of Toulouse, not only hosts education and research institutions but also transfer organizations. Because of this perfect location, the INP-ENSAT can build good relationship with the industry.

2 sites :

• The school’s main site spreads over 11500 m2 including 2800 m2 dedicated to Teaching, 4500 m2 to Research and 1000 m2 to the Learning Center. The site also hosts the Students cafeteria and offices (“Maison des étudiants”) and the University Restaurant managed by the CROUS.
• The second site is the Plant Biotechnolgy Research Center based on the Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique de Toulouse, also located in Auzeville Tolosane. The site spreads over 3000 m2 and is dedicated to Research laboratories, conference rooms, and practical work rooms. These amenities are shared between the INRA, the CNRS and the Paul Sabatier University research laboratories.
