The rapid transformation and potential reach of the digital media into the Indian society has created the need for new core competencies necessary for managing the business and impact of the Media. The emergence of digital media has also radically changed the design and processes of marketing communication. A critical competency that determines the development and success of the communication industry is Communication Management – the management of communication processes and structures. Thus, new career opportunities and challenges have opened up and will continue to evolve and expand. The MBA–Communications program is a 2-year Trimester-based, full-time degree program designed to prepare entry level professionals who will develop their careers as managers and leaders in the ever expanding media and communication industry.

What will the student learn in this Program?

  • The MBA–Communications curriculum brings together the right blend of general management courses and foundational courses in the areas of Communication, Media, Marketing Communication, Public Relations, Corporate Communication and Digital Marketing. The curriculum structure is flexible and provides the option of the choice of majoring in Advertising Management or Brand Management. Alternatively, a student may opt for the required credits from a “basket” of electives. There is a strong focus on hands-on skills and industry exposure with mandatory field projects, internship and the entire final trimester dedicated to a practical dissertation work.

Who should opt for this program?

  • A graduate from any discipline, keen to pursue a career in the world of Media and Marketing Communication. Communication Management is both a creative and scientific process requiring analytical and creative skills.
